ae group at the start of the RUN Erfurt

Under the motto “WE get things moving”, 17 ambitious ae group employees took part in the RUN company run yesterday. In pleasant conditions, they completed the five-kilometer course with an average team time of less then 30 minutes.

Cheered on by the 5-strong fan club and in an exuberant atmosphere, the first company run in the history of the ae group through Erfurt's old town flew by. At the finish line on the cathedral square, a toast was raised to this great team achievement with a cool drink. Afterwards, the colleagues enjoyed a relaxed end to the evening.

Participation in the RUN Erfurt was organized as part of the company health management (BGM). The starting signal for a future with a focus on health and team spirit through the internal BGM system was given on January 1, 2024. After several years of preparation, we are proud to be able to carry this internal movement to the outside world and motivate more and more employees.

The ae group athletes are looking forward to the next BGM events and already collect training kilometers for the Lollslauf on October 13, 2024 as well as for the Stadtwerke Lübeck relay marathon on October 20, 2024.
